The first RMIUG Ski trip was held on Saturday, February 11th, 1995 at the Winter Park ski area.

Art Smoot graciously volunteered his condo, so the Executive Committee and a few friends ventured up Friday night. We awoke to 18" of fresh snow in the morning, and ventured out on the slopes.

We met up with some fellow RMIUG'ers at the top of the lifts. We then took a picture of the whole group:

After a long lunch, we skied some more, and then checked out the hot tub (nice! ;-). All of us (except Art) left Saturday night ... little did we know the pass would be closed for the following 44 hours due to avalanches caused by the severe snowfall!

All in all, a great trip, and we hope to do it again next year!
